I went to Atlantic City and met up with my friend Chris. Chris was the first person to sponsor me when I was 12 years old and had just started skating. He was working for a skateshop and spotted me skating down the street. He yelled over to me and showed me the new store, we started skating a lot and a week or two later he put me on the team. At the time I could barely do the basic flip tricks and knew how to do nothing on ledges or rails. I had just started and Chris knew that, but he sponsored me because he saw I had a drive to skate in me that he said he didn't see in any of my friends.
Chris rarely skates now and is into fighting. We are working on a documentary about his drive for fighting and how he fights in and outside of the ring. This dude may not have the cars, the fame, or the fortune but he does have a dream. "It's better to have a dream, then to have no dream"-Chris Landry
